Hello guys, I am as the local officer or research exchange (LORE) of Center of Indonesian Medical Students’ Activities (CIMSA) National Islamic University (UIN) want to depict the research training project namely, “SCORE Goes Public (SGP) Level 1 (SGP 1)”. SGP 1 was done on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 as an introductory material concerning research to SCORE members. LORE also utilize this opportunity to explain more about SCORE itself to the members.
SGP 1 was commenced on 04.00 pm, starting with lectures from Mr. Zackie, a University of Indonesia medical student from batch 2012. The lectures consist of all about research, but more emphasis is put on the research design and method. Appropriate duration for question and answer session helps in fulfilling the information hungry audience.
Aside from research methodology and design, Mr. Zackie also teach us about data science, from collecting to analyzing. Examples of data science like assigning variable types and choosing the appropriate calculation method was also portrayed. Utilization of SPSS beginning from the input to the production of output was concurrently explained.
As his talk approaching its end, LORE and SCORE CIMSA UIN appreciates Mr. Zackie as SGP 1 speaker by awarding him with certificate as well as food and beverages. Group photos also taken to commemorate the event. Thereafter, the event was adjourned for a short while.
After a few minutes, the event was continued with the agenda of introducing the full scale of SCORE to UIN members. The details appearing in this introduction includes SCORE vision and mission, SCORE structure or chain of command, SCORE types of projects, meetings (national and internal), and lastly management of incoming and outgoing. Thereafter, a second Q&A session was opened towards LORE. Seeing the clock has gone past 18.30 WIB, the event is closed with the awarding of LORE with certificate as an appreciation. The full completion of the event happened on 18.45 WIB.
Henceforth, I as the LORE of CIMSA UIN, hope that SCORE CIMSA UIN can be a legal local as it graduates from its current observer status. I also strongly believed that SCORE UIN projects may be successful and also creative and innovative. Thank you
