On 11 September 2018, SCORE UNS has just done its first bonding session in this activity period, ALOHA. This activity for 2015 to 2017 members hoped to develop the intimacy of their interpersonal relationship as well as giving outlines on the activities for the current year. Prior to the commencement of ALOHA, local committee of research member (LCRE) from UNS play some weird yet interesting games with its members while waiting for the rest of participants. Shockingly, unbeknownst to the committee, Cakra (a SCORE UNS alumni) arrive at the scene all of the sudden despite his crowded academic schedule. He then introduced a spectacular game which is about the expression of people’s response and reflex while they are panic or scared, called “Dor”. The game successfully fills the RK 1 Kebidanan venue with laughter and high pitch scream.
After all has calmed down, LORE start ALOHA by a pre-test on IFMSA, SCORE, national activities, and local activities. It was then continued by explanation on future activities which will be done by SCORE UNS. High priority was given to the detail and account for a research activity called PC-R due to its importance and impact. Furthermore, the LC also start an open recruitment for UNS proHunt team. The activity was then advance on to the question & answers session as well as the post-test session. Moderate improvement can be seen on the scores between pre to post-test.
After the post-test, smirk could be seen at the face of all the committees and participants as it is time for games and food & drink party. It has become a tradition for SCORE UNS to sit down and have fun together while devouring an Indonesian dish called “Nasi Tumpeng” which for convenient purpose, roughly translated to a cone-shaped yellow rice. All SCORE UNS members hand-in-hand together cook and meld the ingredients for the “tumpeng”. Accordingly, all participants fiercely devour their own cooked food.
As the dusk begin to engulf the place with darkness, people are already stuffed with the food and beverages but there is still a considerable amount left. Thus, after some deliberation, the food and beverages were given to the cleaning staff and security nearby.
Since the clock has strike 6 PM and it was already dark, SCORE UNS have to cancel their plan on a trip to Jurug. Instead, they take a commemoration photo and then decided to visit a member of SCORE UNS who was absent for a long time due to dengue haemorrhagic fever.
