In August 2022, SCORE CIMSA UI held hosting for the first time again since the pandemic for 4 incoming students from 3 different nations. This research exchange program was held for a month from the 1st until the 24th of August in Salemba Campus and the IMERI building. This month’s hosting was held in collaboration with FKUI-RSCM Department of Medical Pharmacy. Our program is split into 4 weeks. The first week was used to pick up our incoming student’s from the airport, introduction lectures, welcoming party, and for upon arrival training. Then the second and third weeks were used to study the herbal toxicity level of the research plant, learn how to handle the laboratory mice, and celebrate Indonesia’s independence day. And then the fourth week was used to operate on the laboratory mice, to form the results report, and to visit the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM). And on the last day, we held a farewell party and a national food and drink party where we prepared tumpeng rice as well to celebrate the end of this program with the students, tutor, university deans, and the staff of the FKUI-RSCM Department of Medical Pharmacy.

We have learned so much through these four weeks program as it was also our first hosting experience in 2 years, whether it’s from managing the incoming, communicating with both the tutor and incomings, or preparing the hosting in general. We hope that this first hosting will kickstart another amazing hosting in our local and we hope our incomings have a pleasant and remarkable experiences here. We also hope all those memories always stay in their hearts and minds.
