CIMSA is the only NMO representing IFMSA Research Exchange program. Throughout the years, CIMSA has facilitated and sent THOUSANDS Research Exchange students to hundreds of countries around the world. In research exchange, students will get a hands-on experience to applicate and to increase their research skills in one of the four types of researches: basic science, clinical with lab, clinical without lab, and Global Action Project (GAP). Students are assigned to the tutor or supervisor who is responsible for the related projects.
Students eligible to participate in the exchange program are those who fits these qualifications.
All medical students participating in the research exchange program in Indonesia are entitled to a four-week research experience in their field of choice. During the program, the student will have the opportunity to gain a firsthand understanding of Indonesia’s research landscape and work with outstanding researchers and professors.
