Universitas Padjadjaran (Padjadjaran University or UNPAD) is one of the oldest government universities in Indonesia, which was built on 11 September 1957. The first faculties founded are Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Economics, Teaching Education Faculty. The main campus is in Jatinangor, Sumedang, and has two faculties (Economy and Law), plus most of the post-graduate programs are located in Dipati Ukur, Bandung.
Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) is a hospital located in Bandung, precisely in the way Pasteur 38 Bandung number 40 161. This hospital is one of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in the form service company. Previously the hospital was named RS Rancabadak. The people of Bandung still use these names and its logo is still visible in the form of pictures of rhino having a bath in the ranch (swamp in Sundanese). This hospital is now led by a major director Prof. Cissy Rachiana Sudjana Prawira- Kartasasmita, Sp.A. (K), Ph.D. Hasan Sadikin Hospital was built during the Dutch colonial rule in 1920 but only officially opened on October 15, 1923. Was known then is Algemeene Bandoengche Het Ziekenhuis, and later amended in 1927 becomes a town Ziekenhuis Juliana. At that time, the new hospital capacity was 300 beds.
